I knit in public. A lot. Some people think that's weird, but most people find it fascinating. Almost daily, I stop for a coffee and some knitting at a local cafe. And, almost daily, a complete stranger stops to ask me what I'm knitting.

Some of them are knitters, naturally drawn to other knitters. Some of them are men, fondly reminded of their knitting mothers. Some of them are simply mesmerized by the moving needles.

No matter what their motivation, I always stop for a moment to have a chat and connect with someone new. Knitting makes them feel safe to approach me, and I think that's very cool.

Spontaneous encounters such as these, along with my work at my local yarn store, were the catalyst for this website. It turns out that, whether I'm introducing someone to the miracle of baby alpaca, or rescuing a dropped stitch, the only thing I love more than knitting itself is sharing the love of knitting with others.

This website is essentially the online version of my knitting life. Patterns I've designed. Accessories I've created. Plus helpful tutorials, interesting stories, and links to cool resources still to come. I hope you enjoy the site as much as I enjoy creating it for you!

I design modern, wearable hand-knits from decadent natural fibres. Also:
My spirit animal is a sheep.
My primary knitting fuel is vanilla-hazelnut coffee.
& My inner child is actually an inner senior-citizen :)
